Our Founder

Talal M. Nsouli, M.D., FACIP, FACAAI, FAAAAI is the founder and director of the International Cough Institute. For over 30 years, Dr. Nsouli has developed his expertise, experience, and interest in solving cough as part of his mission as a physician. He has placed a primary focus on the treatment of chronic cough in both adults and children, successfully treating thousands of patients with chronic cough over the past 3 decades.

Dr. Nsouli is a Professor of Clinical Pediatrics and Allergy/Immunology (Adult and Pediatric) at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington D.C. He is the Medical Director of the Watergate and Burke Allergy and Asthma Centers. He was the Vice Chairman of the Cough Committee for the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI). He was the President of the Greater Washington Asthma, Allergy and Immunology Society. He is a Distinguished Research Scientist at the International Center for Interdisciplinary Studies of Immunology.
